Career Visioning Workshop
Bhubaneshwar
A Career Visioning Workshop was organized by the alumni of Bhubaneshwar Chapter on June 21, 2009 at INC Bhubhaneshwar.
Babita Mohapatra, IIT-Kharagpur, currently associated with a World Bank project, lead the workshop with her lively presentation. PK Parmanik, Managing Director, Fast Track Career Consultancy, Varsha, Relationship Manager, MaFoi Management Consultant and Jitu Mohapatra, Managing Director, Orimark Career Consultancy were the speakers on the occasion.
The session commenced with the speakers describing the career scope and the present market situation. PK Parmanik gave a brief idea about the clientele expectations from junior level or freshers, and the skill sets required by the corporates. Recession, career scope, current market situation, building a positive career profile, clientele expectation, employability skill sets and corporate recruitment process were the topics discussed at length.
The seminar was marked by a lively interaction and participation from the alumni from different sectors and functional areas. Members also interacted with the speakers actively and clarified their doubts.
Convergence Nagpur Chapter 2009
Convergence 2009, an alumni reunion was organized by the members of INCAS Nagpur Chapter on May 30, 2009 at INC Nagpur. The event started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a prayer. Dr. R Aher, Regional Head, Nagpur, delivered an inspiring speech. He appreciated all the alumni members for their tremendous response to the program “Convergence -2009”. All alumni were so enthusiastic to visit the new campus of INC and eagerly interacted with each other and with their earlier faculty members.
