I will work smarter
I have made an endeavor to be more efficient and
effective in my current job. As a Manager, I am focussing
on improving the performance of my staff as well, by
targeting dysfunctional activities that can be minimised.
Increasing my working network - both within and
outside my company
I am now trying to meet more people, to find out
what they do, how they do it and what skills they
use to be productive? I now interact more with them
so as to establish better inter-personal relationship.
Find ways to get along better with my boss and
colleagues.
Whenever I perceive that my boss is not managing
me well enough or to my liking, I am exploring
positive ways to change this situation.
Evaluate my personal contribution to this organization.
I am endeavoring to identify ways to improve on my
strengths and minimize my weaknesses, to help move
me along the road to success.
Improving relationship with those I do not get
along.
I am taking the initiative to have positive
interactions with all my colleagues, irrspective of their
position in the hierarchy. I am keeping in mind that my
goal as an employee is to make the best of my talents,
create synergies with colleagues and increase the
productivity and effectiveness of the company.

It often becomes
hard to make your
New Year resolution
and maintain it. But
two months into
firming up my
resolution, I still
believe, it is the right
time to give up bad
habits and adopt good
ones. Keeping this in
mind, I resolved to
develop myself by
taking up a new habit
in the beginning of the
year. Accordingly,
BEING PUNCTUAL is
my resolution of the
year 2010. I have
started to pursue it
and am determined to
be ahead of time in
each and every
activity.
Moreover, I think,
even if I am able to
maintain it for a
couple of months, it
will become a habit
and after that I don't
need to bother
watching over it.
