Would you tell us something about you and your family?
In general, I am calm, quiet, ambitious and a quick learner. I am the only son of my parents and my father is an overseer in Indrâvati project at Junagarh and my mother is a sweet homemaker.
How did you prepare yourself for your career after passing out from INC?
Not in any special way but it’s God’s grace and my little bit of hard work which helped me prepare to place myself in OCL India Ltd, through campus placement before passing out from INC.
With the kind of profile you have, you must be facing high pressure situations- How do you manage?
When one gets into a new job, it’s true that one must face a little bit pressure, but everything depends upon the individual, he alone is responsible for making or breaking his career. But in my case, it’s different because at the time of SIP itself, I got to know about the company and my job profile. This helped me a lot to tackle the present situation.
How do you balance your work and family life?
In a cool manner. It is because our office timings are just similar to that of my college. So, after office hours, I go home and spend time with my family. Initially, sometimes, still the excitement of new job and having fun with new friends makes one face some difficulties, but it’s not an issue all the time.
What are the points of learning?
Learning is an ongoing process. The individual needs to be open at all times to learn.
What advice do you like to give the youngsters at INC in general?
Always try to be a good listener and have passion with perfection in all your actions, along with a pleasant personality. This is my motto for all times.
How do you spend your leisure time?
Only by doing two things, i.e., reading and playing. It’s because reading makes me more knowledgeable and playing makes me more energetic.
What is the level of contact you have with your INC friends? How often do you meet?
Very often, either by phone calls and email or by personal visit on holidays and during leisure times.
What have been your biggest lessons in life so far?
During my Plus 2, I failed to place myself in the topper list of entire Orissa state, missing by just 2 marks, which pained me and gave me a lesson for the future that I need to focus more on my studies. By virtue of that, I secured a 1st class in my graduation and was a gold medalist in my MBA.
What are your plans for the future?
Right now, I am enjoying my present job and my immediate plan is to achieve perfection in the present job and to improve my strengths, overcome my weaknesses, prepare to face threats and be open for future opportunities.
