T-20 Cricket Match @ Gurgaon

The alumni of Noida and Gurgaon INCAS Chapters played a T-20 cricket match on the occasion of Children’s Day at DDA Dwarka Sports Complex, Gurgaon.

Noida Chapter team won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 103 runs in 20 overs. Refreshments were served to all the participants and alumni in the pavilion during the lunch break. Gurgaon Chapter team appeared as though they would cross the total with some initial big hits into the fence with fours and sixes, but succumbed finally to the skillful bowling and fielding of Noida team members and scoring only 101 runs. Winners and runners-up were felicitated during the award ceremony. Gaurav Kathuria, MBA 2007 was declared ‘Man of the Match’, and Mohit Nangia, MBA 2007 was awarded the ‘Best Bowler’. ‘Runner-up Trophy’ was given to the Gurgaon INCAS Chapter team Captain Vaibhav Jain (MBA 2009), and finally, amidst loud applause, the Winner’s Trophy was handed over to Sharadh (MBA 2008), the captain of Noida INCAS Chapter team. All the members expressed their happiness for conducting a sports event and expressed their willingness to participate in more such sports events in the future.
